1 teaspoon grated orange peel
1/2 teaspoon orange extract

Icing
1 cup powdered sugar
~ 2 teaspoons orange juice

Instructions

Heat the oven to 350F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.

In a mixing bowl, add the sugar cookie mix, butter, cream cheese, egg, orange peel and orange extract. Beat until the mixture comes together and makes a soft cookie dough.

With a spatula, fold in the dried cranberries.

Using a medium size ice-cream scoop, drop cookie dough on the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 12 minutes or until puffed and slightly golden.

Remove from the oven and cool completely.

When cooled, make the icing.

In a small bowl combine the powdered sugar with enough orange juice to make a spreadable icing.

Spoon a little on top of the cookies and let it spread all by itself. Sprinkle chopped cranberries over the cookies.
